ABOUT Smokin Gun Comics
Smokin Gun Comics is a passion project that started in 1992. Cecil Lammey and Eric Hoffman were roommates in Fort Collins, Colorado at the time when they started creating and developing their own comic universe. Gravis was among the first characters born in this new world. Cecil and Eric put together an eight-page anthology that was to run in the second issue of the Legend Comics title, LORDS, back in 1993, but the company went out of business before the second issue went to print. The duo put their dream of getting published to rest, but the universe would keep growing and growing during phone calls over the years. Both started families and careers, but they never left Gravis behind. When the chance arose to publish Gravis via Paragon Graphics & Printing, the team jumped at the chance and Smokin Gun Comics was born!
In 2020, Chris Harp was added to the team as Graphic Designer and Content Manager. Harp is in charge of website design and helps with the company's social networking accounts.
In 2022, SCG Art Director brought on artist Ty "ArtMan" Henderson to work on FAKE BOOS and SUIMMORTAL. Henderson is a horror and comic book artist from Beaumont, Texas. He works on both traditional and digital art. Henderson also does cartoon art and black and grey digital portraits.
